Lucca

Lucca is a small medieval town still surrounded by ancient city walls. Lucca is one of the most important Italian cities of art and is known all over the world for the intact city walls. Tourists often hike or rent a bike to ride on top of the walls. Completely closed to external car traffic, Lucca's historical center has maintained a Roman-medieval urban structure. Lucca is definitely a rich city of culture with many sites to explore.
